New directions with a firm basis in tradition

There is a common belief within education that everyone should have entitlement to high quality creative and cultural experiences. This belief and the opportunity for schools to try out new things, to experiment and to grow are central to our wider strategic aims and the work we currently provide to schools through partnership with Bracknell Forest and Slough Borough Councils and the Berkshire Community Foundation.

We see liaison with head teachers and school music co-ordinators as a crucial element in reaching a wider base of potential musicians. Our creative team are provide outreach work and taster sessions in schools and venues and our own research has shown that our pennywhistle clubs are cost effective and can make an impact on children’s wider academic achievement.
