The organisation is directly responsible for national advertising (within the limitations of the resources available) including: advertising in music publications, newspaper, radio and internet listings; specialist news and music publications and related websites, advance press releases and interview opportunities. Materials include photographs (printed and electronically distributed), CDs, descriptive material, biographies and press releases.

We have appropriate relationships with promoters and venues and a specific marketing strategy for this project that will include a local and national plan. With a good chance of national air play in the run up to the tour following Luke Daniels’ recent success with “Lost Music of the Gaels” project including:

• In Tune - BBC Radio 3 - live studio session

• Mixing It - BBC Radio 3 - airplay

• Late Junction - BBC Radio 3 - airplay

• Folk on 2 - BBC Radio 2 - live studio session and interview

Featured previews in listing magazines including ‘Time Out’ (through the organisation’s publicist) help to promote each concert as well as local radio appearances and phone links with members of the group in the days leading up to the performance.
